Ceramic Coatings

A Ceramic Coating?  What is that?

Ceramic coatings are the top of the line and can even up the resell value on your vehicle. Think of it as a thick layer of sunscreen before you go out on the beach, but way more intense. It's a hyper-tough and extraordinarily hard layer of Silicon Dioxide that cures to the entire exterior of your vehicle, boat, or aircraft's paint, glass, and other surfaces.

Ceramic coatings will not only provide the paint with a very rich, glossy appearance that is unparalleled but a nano-coating of ceramic is also formulated to last anywhere between 3 to 7+ whole years, depending on the type of coating you have chosen.

In simple terms, ceramic coatings have two jobs:

  1. Long term paint protection
  2. Beautiful gloss and shine

How Does A Ceramic Coating Work?

Once applied onto the paint, it seriously feels as if your ceramic coating has provided your car, boat, or plane with second skin that's always extra hard, scratch-resistant, and naturally hydrophobic. The ceramic coating has been designed to protect almost literally everything that stays within the paint exterior, from bird poop, bugs, rain, pollen, minor scratches, and so on.

Yes, detailing your vehicle regularly can protect the vehicle from time to time, but ceramic coatings form a shield that will protect your investments until the day it is traded in. Meaning, that's more money in your pocket.

We give the car a thorough wash to clean and decontaminate the paintwork. Once cleaned and decontaminated, we will paint correct the vehicle (IF NEEDED) to remove minor scratches, paint swirls, and little imperfections. We then apply the liquid ceramic coating in thin layers onto the paint, leave it to cure, and then carefully buff off so that all that is left is a thin ceramic layer. The vehicle then sits for 24 hours in order to cure. It's that easy.

Now we will answer the question you are thinking. Why are ceramic coatings so expensive?

  1. Time. First things first, ceramic coating application takes a very long time. On average, a ceramic coating installation takes 8 hours, not mentioning the 24hr curing period.
  2. Strongest product on the market. Ceramic coatings are the strongest and advanced form of paint protection known to man. When we say this, we mean it. This isn't a few day spray that falls off when the weather changes. Coatings provide YEARS of protection… not months.
  3. Installation Process. In order to install ceramic coatings (properly) it requires major training and reputation. Our installers have spent almost 2 years perfecting their skills for the proper paint correction and ceramic coating process. Bottom line, ceramic coating is a very long, expensive, and tedious process.
